Cardiac Amyloidosis is a rare cardiomyopathy, but it is very often underdiagnosed. The authors presented a clinical case (M, 76 years old) of Cardiac Amyloidosis diagnosed in primary care, based on non-specific symptoms, changes in complementary diagnostic methods (CDM) and extra-cardiac findings of Amyloidosis. This case highlights the importance of being aware with this condition and maintaining a high diagnostic index of suspicion in order to enable early treatment to modify the prognosis, when indicated.
